Jim Richardson attends the Tournament of Champions in Los Angeles on behalf of the National Board of Trial Advocacy

On November 1-4, 2017, Jim Richardson represented the National Board of Trial Advocacy at the Tournament of Champions national mock trial competition in Los Angeles. The tournament was held at the U.S. Courthouse, hosted by Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and sponsored by Robinson Calcagnie of Newport Beach, California. Presented by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, only sixteen law schools with the best three-year record of success are invited to compete.

Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law won the intensely competitive tournament for the second consecutive year. The final round was judged by the Honorable Andre Birotte, Jr., U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Phil Pasquarello took top honors with the Best Advocate Award.
